Feb. 5th, 2019: Day 1.


February 5th, 2019.

The first day of this all fruits, veggies, and 1 protein shake a day diet.

I want sugar. I want candy. I want all of the things that are bad for me and it is so hard to not have them. I won’t lie. But, I am making it.

This morning I had a smoothie. It came pre-packaged from Wegmans and had banana, coconut, watermelon, and strawberry. It is delicious. I personally just add apple juice since I can’t have almond milk or yogurt.

I did fine throughout the morning. I was tired and I’m dragging a little bit. But I got off work and was able to go home for lunch. Which, I just have to say I am still experimentation with my Foods ha. I tried to make a salad dressing from lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. It is safe to say that did not work at all as intended and was really disgusting. Please don’t make the same mistake I did friends.

I had a salad of romaine, mushrooms, and some broccoli. I then had a small little fruit mix that had raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and some strawberries. It was good minus the whole salad dressing situation.

But I made it and that is what counts!

Tonight, I plan on having my protein shake around 5 pm and then having some mini peppers along with some more fruit.

I am craving sugar and it is going to be one hard thing for me honestly. But I have to do this to prepare me for surgery so that is all I can do for now.

So, here’s to tonight to making it through my first day!
